The first episode in a three-part series of short movies based on the Assassin’s Creed universe was broadcast for the first time worldwide on YouTube on October 27th. Developed by Ubisoft Hybride Technologies, Assassin’s Creed: Lineage combines live action and computer-generated imagery (CGI) to give fans the back-story to the upcoming Assassin’s Creed II video game. This series is part of an effort to strengthen Ubisoft’s intellectual properties by bringing them beyond video games to other entertainment media.
