In this new episode, players take on the role of detective John Tanner as he attempts to track down the crime lord Charles Jericho, who has escaped from prison and is spreading terror throughout the city of San Francisco. Set in the iconic Bay Area and for the first time sporting an exciting variety of licensed cars, each with their own distinctive handling, Driver® San Francisco revitalizes car-chase gaming on consoles and the PC/Mac.

The Driver franchise has made its mark by taking precision and maneuverability to an art form. In its most recent opus, Driver® San Francisco, the thrill of the chase is pushed to new heights with car chases worthy of the best Hollywood blockbusters. Car enthusiasts will once again love being able to choose from over 120 top-brand cars including muscle cars, super cars, modern racing cars... the choices are endless in this new opus. On the agenda: weaving through the city's dense traffic, off-road drifting and other high-speed stunts; nothing's off-limits in the hunt for Jericho.

Throughout the game's chapters, players will encounter an enormous cast of colourful characters and embark on a series of gripping car chases, races, takedowns and stunts; experiencing an incredibly realistic feeling behind the wheel. And the addition of the revolutionary "Shift" function allows players to make tactical choices and stay in the centre of the action at all times by instantly swapping between vehicles.
